Bloom characteristics:
Erect inflorescence is 2.75" (7 cm) long with 4-10 white flowers with an orange lip that open simultaneously. Flower is about 2.4" (6 cm) across.
Description:
This orchid was discovered and described as a new species while flowering in the collections of Kew Botanic Gardens. It is mostly identified by how it differs from another very similar orchid, C. viscosa. It flowers at the same time as its leaves appear, rather than before, has pseudobulbs of a different shape, and several other differentiating features.
