Habitat: Guanacaste coast; 65-3600ft (20-1100m)
Life form: Epiphytic
Bloom characteristics: Erect inflorescence is 12-30" (30-76 cm) long with 3 yellow and brown flowers on each branch. Flowers are 1" (2.5 cm) across.
Bloom Time (northern hemisphere): October to April; peaks in April
Description: This small sized orchid takes its name from the two prominent colors – yellow and brown – of its flowers.
