Habitat: Near rivers; 100-656ft (30-200m)

Life form: Epiphytic

Bloom Time (northern hemisphere): February to May; August

Bloom characteristics: Erect inflorescence is 24" (60 cm) long with 10-28 purple-brown flowers with a pink lip. Flowers are 1.6" (4 cm) across.
