Bloom characteristics:
Erect inflorescence is up to 4" (10 cm) long with 3-5 flowers. Flowers are 1.25" (3.2 cm) across.
Description:
This small orchid was first described in 1994 as the sole member of the genus Christensonia. Then, after DNA testing in 2012, it was discovered to be in the genus Vanda. It is endemic to Vietnam and prefers hot to warm temperatures.
