Distribution: Sikkim to China (S Yunnan) and Peninsular Malaysia
Habitat: Evergreen lowland and montane forests; 700-1500m

Bloom Time (northern hemisphere): November to June; peaks in January and February
Bloom characteristics: Inflorescence is 4-6" long with 2-4 white flowers which open simultaneously. Flower is 1.6" across.
Fragrance: Musty
Pollination syndrome: Bee (Apis cerana cerana), food deception
Description: This medium sized orchid has grassy foliage which can hide its flowers when very dense.
