Bloom characteristics:
Erect inflorescence is 40" (100 cm) long with 10-20 variable color flowers that open in succession over a long period. Flowers are .5-1.2" (1.25-3 cm) across.

Bee (Amegilla nigriter), food deception
Description:
This small orchid attracts its bee pollinator by tricking it into thinking its flowers have food where there is none.
