Bloom characteristics:
Inflorescence is 2" (5 cm) long with 1-3 green flowers with a large white lip that open simultaneously. Flowers are 4-6" (10.2-15.2 cm) across and can last up to a month.

Sweet citrus (at night)
Foliage characteristics:
Almost cylindrical and very fleshy, leaves can be as long as 18" (45.7 cm).

Moth
Description:
This large orchid has long, pendulous leaves, large flowers, and a sweet evening fragrance that is so strong it can fill a room. It is frequently confused with Epidendrum falcatum, but E. falcatum is a creeping lithophytic orchid with thick, brittle stems and more flowers, which have a slight pinkish hue.
